Tabby Cat Plants Himself in the Garden and Becomes a Dirt Flower originally appeared on Parade Pets.

You know how some cats act like they’re king of the jungle? This Tabby cat went full Mother Earth instead. He planted himself right in the flower bed like he was the garden.

Covered in dirt and rolling in the wheelbarrow and absolutely unbothered by it, he’s giving I’m a flower now energy — and honestly, we respect it.

The video was shared on the TikTok account @linzchli with the cute caption, “He’s such a goof!” and I think a lot of us cat moms and dads feel that way about our own fur babies!

One cat mom commented, “I have a similar cat plant also.”

“Cats who love to dig up plants and play in flower pots are cute but so naughty,” one person added.

That’s so true! I recently purchased a new Monstera plant, and every day I find a little sprinkle of dirt outside the pot. It’s absolutely not me digging my little paws in there.

“Good job. When planting felines, it’s so important to leave room for adequate growth to maturity like you’ve done here,” someone else hilariously said.

Another commenter responded, “Some people would be mad about this, but that’s what cats are for! I make an effort every day to bring joy to my cat, and in return, I get so much more! Thanks for sharing!”

If you’ve got outdoor kitties (or curious indoor cats who like to sneak out), it’s a good idea to fill your garden with cat-safe plants. Some of the best options include catnip, cat grass, valerian, rosemary, and mint. They’re all nontoxic to kitties and safe to plant outside. Not only will your garden look great, but your feline friends can roll around without you panicking mid-zoomie. Bonus: Catnip turns your flower bed into a full-blown kitty day spa.

If you do let your furball outside to be a garden cat or roll in the dirt, it’s always a good idea to either supervise them or keep them on a harness, safe from predators or from running into the street. It’s always better to be safe than sorry when it comes to our fur babies!
