ALBANY, New York (WWNY) – State money is available to expand urban farms and community gardens.
State Agriculture Commissioner Richard Ball announced that $2.5 million is available through New York’s Urban Farms and Community Gardens Grant Program.
It’s the third round of the program, which, as the name suggests, supports projects geared toward the development and enhancement of urban farms, school gardens and community gardens.
