Missed you too. And, you're welcome. š
I love your holy basil Im growing alot of it I posted about it on my channel. Trying to find some recipes need to use them up.
My okra peppers and melons-watermelon and cantaloupe are doing okay. The tomatoes and cucumber are all burned up. Todayās feels like is 113.
Beautiful harvest from the greenstalk!
HAP HAP HAPPY TO SEE YOU š
I agree with you Jess naming the calf after the Prince of Darkness might not be the best idea for a docile Bull.
We missed you!!
Savin for one!!ā¤
Thank you Allā¤ā¤
Glad you are doing well, despite the health issues. I missed you, but certainly would rather you continue to show us your genuine self, setting an example for how to let the low fruit drag as you take care of the more important things. Thank you for you inspiring and motivating content. You are my favorite content creator by far! Keep being your Godly, genuine self! ā¤
Love his name. He's cute š
Beautiful Goats and calves, Thank-you!
The Dexter and Jersey cross are called Belfair. They are a really good cross for milk and beef.
Where do you source your silver slicer cucumbers?
How's Miah's injury healing? That is such an adorable calf not fair lol I'd never be able to give it up. Hope the mono heals up quickly and you guys get to enjoy his last bit of summer.
I hear you Jess. Same kind of summer for us. Scaling back expectations has helped. Making lots of goat cheese now but planning on selling a doe and several kids and one buck to only having 6 goats this winter. We want time to enjoy our family, do some travel and rest. My husband is 82, I am 65. Praying you all heal well.
Thank you Jess!
I'm so glad to see a video! Since you have been quiet, and I knew you were dealing with health issues, I have been praying for you. My year has felt like your summer. I am looking forward to fall (and my kids and I have started seed starts inside for that fall garden). š
I was trying to add my pic of my greenstalk this year just for fun for everyone. I guess this is not the place. It's a beauty this year nasturtiums and strawberries. Best year yet, year 3. Cheers love the garden content.
I adore your videos ā¤. Praying for your family! What kind of camera do you use?
Ok, fill me in pleaseā¦Iāve got holy, tai and lemon basil. Also lemon verbenaā¦could all of these be dehydrated for tea?
Also, does anyone have tips for harvesting and preserving bay leaves. Iāve been successfully overwintering it with other plants in a place that I store my dahlias.
Hoping to add the lemon verbena to the overwintered family. š
%100 high five on OZZY!
Thatās a great haul from the Greenstalk. Iām jealous of all those tomatoes. 𤩠Iām in AZ and itās just too hot for tomatoes.
Thanks for updating us about Christmas Carol the cow, love to hear about her!
Thank you for being here for us!
The tea garden turned out really good. Hard to believe you had so much success for a first year garden. š
We are Zone 9B/10 in Seminole County FL just N of Orlando – depends on rain for us. If rain comes greatly in May – everything grows fungus and by June big stuff is done. Although Black-eyed peas, Okra, Eggplant, some herbs flourish. This year we were in a Neutral weather pattern, not El NiƱo or La NÄ©na and I much prefer Neutral as our brassicas and herbal harvest were amazing, my freezers are stuffed/lots of dried and vacuum sealing or glass jar storage. So our rains have been much less, more condensed days with lots of volume and then nothing for 3 weeks. The lightening has been quite intense. Love this community you cultivate, big hugs much love, Mother Medicine
Wow, I thought SE Michigan has been hot! Wishing everyone some relief from this heat wave. (By the way, I would love if you would share your pasta sauce recipe on the Farmerās Table.)
Our garden has been an eating garden only and a total fail of some things. But I am ok with it. It is so very hot . I am thankful to not have to pick and preserve in the heat. Blessings every where.
What kind of cucumbers were those in the greenstalk?
Thank you
OMGee Ozzy, aww.
Ozzy is so cute! I'm sorry to hear about the sickness with the kids and injuries.
Your herb garden has done great. That was a great little harvest from your Greenstalk.
