I’m sort of new to this still, but I got about 120 seeds from 4 different haworthia this season. You need two to flower at the same time, of course. The flowers are very small, so I use a cat whisker (I just save them when I find them around my apartment). If you don’t have a cat use something else that is very thin like a whisker but also slightly rigid, like a bristle from a brush or something.
I take the whisker, insert it into one flower and move it around a little, and then do the same on a flower of another variety. I just go back and forth like this with all of the open flowers.
Many will not successfully pollinate, but if they do you will see the flower turn into a pod, like in my picture. I cut sections of packing tape and loosely fasten it around the pod so that if it bursts open the seeds aren’t lost. The pod will eventually mature and crack open. Once the flowers are all gone you can cut the stem off the plant if you want and keep it inside while you wait for the seeds.
Plant the seeds soon after the pods burst open, don’t wait months.
