A string trimmer and power washer

Encourage the clover to take over, and cut it shorter and shorter over time. It looks beautiful with the green in between, and I believe that is what was intended.

Use an Edger to remove grass while making a sharp edge on all four sides of pavers. Then use a Blower to move cut grass clippings from pavers. Then, spray concrete cleaner on the pavers and use a long handle brush to remove dirt and grime. Finally, use water from either a nearby hose or power washer to rinse cleaner from pavers. Should look 100% improved.

Looks amazing, if you clean them up, it will grow back like that. If you add sand you can keep the lines cleaner for longer. Stone dust if you have issues with ants.

I’m not sure what you’re looking for . I assume you like the green between the rattyy concrete pavers, it’s the saving Grace here. Assuming that is what you want, the only way you’re going to get it crisp edges with a weed wacker for mechanically, with the hand

If you were a dead set on the idea of sharp lines between each block with green between, then you should select the right plant. Grass, pure grass seed is probably your best bet here. Dig out what you have and put in grass seed. Just that monoculture nothing else and that will simply grow up and straight but make sure you pick the rights type, still work but will have a decent look. Grass type and monoculture

Or you can surrender to a softer edge, but also with an intended plan not just the crappy grass weed makes you have in there now. You have to pull all of that out and select some creepers and there’s lots of them that go between Stone on paths some more aggressive than others depending where you are etc

When done right that is all so A beautiful look but the devil is in the details for plan a or plan b. A monoculture of the plant you’ve selected or in the case of the creeper maybe you could have a couple etc.

Use an edger or turn your weed wacker so the head is vertical, and take it around the edge of the pavers.

Hi everyone, i just realized how dumb this sounded lol. I dont want to remove the grass between the slabs at all, i just want to make the slabs look more sharp [sort of like this but more flush](https://pin.it/239YIknVf)

Easy. Once a week, just spend 5 hours on your knees with a pair of scissors.

  9. I would try just powerwashing the bricks first. It looks lovely like this and I think they would pop more if the stone was brighter. Powerwashing would naturally clean up the edges a little bit too.

  10. It’s not worth the 5 hours with an edger that it will take every time you want to clean it up.

  11. Honestly? I would dig them up, remove the grass and spike around them, level and compact the soil, place them back on a 1” bed of drainage rock (compacted and make sure all evenly spaced and aligned, and refill with either grass or pebbles… Bonus points for putting some outdoor strip lighting between the blocks and putting some white quartz over them.

Pull em out, trim edges & re-level with sand then replace. Fill any gaps with dirt and you’ll be edging in no time.

That is fashionable. People are trying to create same kind of effect for purpose

    String trimmer

Ashamed to say trimming my pavers w my weed Wacker is one of my fav parts of my week

It will be tedious but you could edge each one those bricks. Just depending on how much time you want to spend

  16. Hapyfoam_7697

Power wash them and edge them. I’d suggest a trimmer head at like a 45 degree angle to keep tripping to a minimum

It looks like the majority of them are crooked and not level. It might be worth your time to get a chalk line and make them nice and square, and use a long 2×4 with a level to even out the height on them. If your brain works like mine, that will bother you more once you get them nice and edged up and cleaned

  18. MostMobile6265

I think you need a different type of grass so that you can cut lower.

  19. ElectroHiker

Power washer to make the bricks shine, and then trim the grass around the bricks to look sharp.

Take the guard off the weed wacker and use it vertically instead of horizontal to edge each brick all the way around. Easy fix without buying a new tool.
