I've had this echeveria for a while and it's a bit of a mutant. It's been through a lot in recent months (bare root repot in more inorganic soil, minor wounds from pest removal, 1 month no water) but it was determined to flower. Over the past few weeks both the flower stalks and the newest leaves have grown a lot. But what's odd is that the flower stalks are super close to the central growth point with just 2-3 leaves in-between them. Is this normal or is it as unusual as it looks?

This is normal. Sometimes they do due to stress but it looks healthy. You can cut the blooms to allow it to refocus its energy back on growing and rooting or you can leave the blooms. Watering after a month is not terrible. Better than watering too often. It’s better to make sure it is thirsty with bone dry soil.
