    Yes, it’s scale. In my experience scale tends to go after a specific cactus vs spreading everywhere, does anyone know if it travels by air, soil or critters? Maybe they choose A weak immune system or maybe something otherwise positive that is enticing to those darn scale. Depending on how low it goes I’ll likely just dig out, the dirts soft, and toss this one. If you’re local and you want to spend time cleaning the crud out of it, chat me up, I’ll trade it for a good IPA in the late afternoon, or something lighter in the heat of the day!
