I live in zone 6a. This is my first year caring for a lawn, the sod was laid in November of last year and took this spring. I had irrigation installed over the weekend and now I would like some pointers on how to manage the unevenness, the dead areas, and anything else you’ve found to help get it back to the condition it was in. I am currently fighting a fungus as well so I’m hesitant to water too much. Thanks for all your help!

Spray the fungus as you need more water than a typical lawn would. Rent or buy a roller to help smooth out the lumps and bumps.
How much did that cost? Have a similar size yard
Set irrigation times for early morning, 2-3 days a week, depending on season of course. Deep watering, 1.5″ when it’s on. Don’t be like my neighbors who do light watering 3 times a day 😄
I set my irrigation for 4:45AM. I have four zones. I give them all about 20-25 mins each 3x-4x a week. For the fungus, I’ve used Bioadvanced fungicide and it worked great. There’s not a lot in the bottle and can be a little expensive, but it’ll eliminate the headache. I’m sure there’s other options, but that’s from my experience. Good luck!
Edit: Def get the fungicide applied ASAP and let it sit for a day. Then go back to watering. The dead grass will file in or you can overseed (read all the steps before applying). Also, you can buy a roller to level out the unevenness.
Oh my word are there no dividers on these lawns? How do you know who owns what? And there’s nothing but grass? Looks like a green desert :O
Also there’s 0 privacy 😬
A flagstick!
Your gonna need a lot more than just water to get it back to the orig delivered sod quality. Regular fertilizer, aeration, dethatching, etc
Fungicide treatments are expensive. Part of the irrigation game.
Is this a developers landscaping ? You get some grass and one tree like every other house?
I’d over seed the trench lines or wait till fall
