Wasn’t able to add any text to the post so some more info:

I have had this mint plant for about a month. It is outside in a pot and I tend to water it once every 2 days. It is in the shade throughout most of the morning and early afternoon.
The biggest leaves keep developing these black/brown spots and yellowing. They wil either fall off by themselves or I’ll pick them myself. I’d appreciate any help.

Possibly not enough water. In the hot summer months and in terracotta, I would give it a very good watering every morning. Also, outside, take the saucer off and water until water comes out the bottom

  4. Mint craves world domination and your petty containment device is preventing said mint from achieving its goals. This displeases mint.

Also probably needs more water. Terra cotta dries out pretty fast.
