I’ve never seen shredded cardboard used in place of bubble wrap. My only concern would be if they treated it in some way to prevent mold or something.

I would be careful with anything used to ship furniture. I recall reading somewhere that they pump that stuff full of insecticide to prevent pests from getting into furniture during transit.Β

This seems new to everyone, perhaps you should call or email the company and ask if the paper is treated with anything

I would be shitting my pants with excitement if I got this πππ Iβve been scraping my garden and yard for anything dead I can find lately

if you are worried about any additives i’d dump them in a bucket of water overnight
then spread em out to dry a bit so its not one massive clump of material maybe?
Personally i wouldn’t worry – maybe i’d feel otherwise if i smelt it myself
