The camp, which has been a summer option for local kids for many years, offers a diverse group of campers and staff the opportunity to “explore the outdoors, plant seeds, make farm-fresh snacks, sing songs, and grow side by side.” Life Lab is a national leader in garden-based learning. At the Garden Classroom educational center in Santa Cruz, Life Lab engages learners with experiential programs such as field trips, summer camps, internships and educator workshops.
