Would you make a garden-to-table breakfast like this? Whatās your favorite way to use a fresh harvest? Drop your ideas below! -CaliKim & CameraGuy
Love this video- thanks for sharing how you cook your produce- looks amazing and has inspired me to eat more veggies at breakfast from my garden instead of waiting to do so at the main meal later in the day. Keep this type of content coming š
I love the garden to table video!!! Looking forward to watch more of these! ā¤ā¤ā¤
Good kim do u have any to ask me
I started 6 plant starts of red veined sorrel 2 days ago. I do hope it doesnāt become a problem. I guess if you keep harvesting it doesnāt produce seed. I have common dock as a weed in my garden and while itās not the worst weed, it does have very very deep roots and is hard to get rid of.
That was fun watching you cook!ā¤
CaliKim, It just Dawned on me that you can add sun reflectors to your garden to reflect extra sunlight to your garden! What do You think? Best. Great video! Thanks so much. Very interesting and soothing. Best. Love
Cookin' With CaliKim!!! I love it!
Looks delicious.
love watching you cook your harvest. It's inspiring and relaxing
Watching this Sunday morning in Winter South Australia. Love these garden to table videos please do more of them š
Last spring I bought a dwarf mulberry tree which produced no fruit and I just looked at it and it has hundreds of little fruits coming, so excited.
I had a massive problem with rats last summer eating lots of my produce in particular my capsicums so I put these little fabric bags over them or I wrapped some of my plants in tulle( idea from Robbie in So Cal) the tulle worked really well and has also kept them warm and helped them overwinter here in SA
Would love to see more garden ideas with the Blackstone.
Looks so delicious ⤠Iāve started eating raw vegan (Gerson diet) due to chronic illness & fresh organic raw vegetables & fruit have saved my life basically! Iām looking to start my own garden now that Iām starting to feel a bit better thanks to a raw plant based diet ā¤
Hi Kim and Jerry! I enjoyed this video. It made me feel like I was hanging out with you in your garden. You said, āI gotta get them before the rats do.ā Are you serious? Do you really have rats that would climb up there and eat the tomatoes. Oh man that is so crazy. Hahaha ššš Liz
Love this video format!
Only have chives, bunching onions, lettuce and Russian kale that I have been harvesting still. But I need to restart some lettuce, whatās planted is a bit long in the tooth right now.
That dish looked really delicious, with the exception of the cheese and avocado ā 2 items not part of my palate. š
And that was one big jalapeƱo. Mine never got that big. š
how do you deal with the rats? they come and steal my entire harvest before I can get anything (tomatoes, peppers, berries, even lettuce, everything).
Kim, I think that's not a Jalapeno. Looks more like an Anaheim? Maybe you got a pepper-gate plant?
Good stuff! The only thing I would have changed is to double or triple the amount of eggs and I would have used the hot sauce I made from peppers and tomatoes I grew in my garden. I go 5-6 deep any time I have eggs. That is just for me lol
I used to pick them wild near my home years ago ⦠in the underbrush, probably close to snakes and spiders, but those berries were fat, juicy, and sweet! Love this Saturday morning stroll in your garden Kim and Jerry. Hmmmm ⦠you might need to try a southern favorite – fried green tomatoes! And ⦠just a side note ⦠The Whistle Stop Cafe is a real restaurant in Juliette, Georgia. I bet they have their fried green tomato recipe on the website. Donāt let the rats or birds get your beautiful green tomatoes, or peppers either!
By the way Kim – I love your beautiful shirt! Love the beautiful breakfast too! OH, oh, oh it looks so so good!
Yummā¦.that looks so good! I make something very similar in a small cast iron skillet on the stove. Love to go gather the ingredients in the garden and bring right in to make breakfast.
