Hi all, my mother died in February and I've been attempting to keep her plants alive. Thankfully the oak leaf hydrangea is going strong but the roses are really janky – I've since pruned down down a lot but from browsing this subreddit I suspect they have rosette and we have rose sawfly. I don't know if it's worth it to keep trying to keep them alive or if it's just cut them down and bag them up and leave the ground alone for a few seasons… I'm really disappointed in myself for letting them (and my mom) down. :/
