Hi all. I put up a HF 10×12 greenhouse last year. I reinforced it with an internal frame per Internet wisdom. And I added lots of extra panel clips. But over the course of the winter I lost panels 3 times.
First question: I bought panel clips from several different vendors. But they are all thin and flimsy – not at all like the beefy clips that came with the GH. Can anyone tell me where I can buy those?
Second question: see my picture. Did I install the clips backwards?
Last question: I see advice to use roofing screws (with built in rubber washers) to fasten the panels to the frame. Do I put the screws around the edges, or into the rectangular tubing cross braces? If I use the cross braces there is about 1/4" gap between the panels and braces. Do I use spacers?
Thanks

Yes, that retainer is installed incorrectly
Just screw the panels right into the frame with metal self tapping screws with a rubber and metal washer. My panels stay that way. Screw them to everything you can, braces, edges etc. The metal clips are nice cosmetic backups. 🙂

I have purchased extra clips from Harbor Freight for my two 6 x 8 greenhouses.
This pic is from their website. Price includes shipping.
