Set in the industrial outskirts of Tamil Nadu, Perforation Stori is a refined interpretation of privacy-focused luxury living. Designed for a family seeking openness without exposure, the home is planned around nature and connectivity, ensuring clarity in movement while maintaining layered connections between indoor and outdoor spaces. The architectural form plays with cuboidal volumes and subtle voids, offering both spatial drama and environmental responsiveness.
The residence features a triple-height courtyard, koi fish pond with a glass bridge, and landscaped greens that anchor the home in nature. Vertical GFRC panels and MS louvres allow natural light and ventilation to filter through while maintaining visual privacy. Living areas open out to gardens and terraces, with key elements like a rooftop swimming pool, cabana, bar, and spa woven into the upper levels for recreation. Inside, the palette of grey Italian marble, walnut-finish wood, fluted veneers, and mirrors elevates the interiors with understated sophistication.
#myideaofluxury is a series presented by Marble Centre International (@marblecentreinternational ) association with #Buildofy
Running entirely on solar power, the home integrates sustainability into its core. Through considered planning, passive design features, and elegant materiality, this project transforms a tight urban plot into a spacious, light-filled retreat that bridges functionality, comfort, and architectural presence.

[Water gushing] [Ar. Prasanna Parvatikar]: My idea of
luxury is elegance, in terms of material palette, in terms of the finishes, in terms of artifacts, in terms of furniture
and everything. So, I would say, luxury is a combination of all
these elements. [Ar. Roopashree Parvatikar]: The design of this
residence is rooted in the idea of creating
a harmonious balance between the openness
and the privacy. The courtyards, the transitional spaces,
and the large openings create fluid spatial experiences blurring the boundaries
between the built and unbuilt. [PERFORATION STORI] [Music] -[Ar. Prasanna]: Hi, this is
Ar. Prasanna Parvatikar, from Cubism Architects and Interiors. -[Ar. Roopashree]: Hi, I’m Ar. Roopashree Parvatikar, from Cubism Architects and
Interiors, Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu. Join me for an exclusive home tour of ‘The Perforation Stori’,
in Tiruppur. To watch premium videos, and access PDF eBooks with house plans, log on to buildofy.com. The link is in the description below. [Ar. Prasanna]: The site is surrounded by
the industrial units. The orientation of the
plot is north facing which has a private road. The total built-up area of the
house is close to 9,500 sq. ft. The evolution of plan started
from the bubble diagram where we thought of
creating those niches, where dedicated outer
garden areas are planned. We did zoning in a
such a way that we wanted to have
this garage park, on this northeast corner. It has a separate entrance. And then, from here, once you go inside, this is a foyer. And, this foyer has a
view of garden on either sides. [Water gushing] Then, from here, you
go to the living room. The living room of this
house is double-height. This placement of living room
is in such a way that someone who comes
from the foyer, can directly enter
into this living room. And, this is the central
part of the house, where we have divided
into two parts. One is family living. And, one is dining. From dining and
family sitting, we have given this garden which is, again, triple height. -[Ar. Roopashree]: We are in the courtyard. which is next to the family room. The use of this Krishna statue, the wooden door, the waterfall, is that we wanted to give
liveliness to the space. [Water trickling] From dining, one goes
to the kitchen. We have created the
wonderful central garden on the north side. [Water gushing] The primary requirement of the client, is that she wanted
to have a waterfall, which we have created here, with the fish pond. This is the koi fish pond
all around here. [Soft bubbling] And, this extends to the garden which has the stone paving. Then, we have small cabana there. [Birds chirping] The ideal location of the pooja room is to have an east-facing one. And then, adjacent to pooja
is the master bedroom. The master bedroom itself
has a lot of materials. We have used a grey embroidery. And, on some of the wall panels, we have fluted veneer panels. Then, we have gray mirror
on the walls. Then the extension
part of this area is a a large dressing. And, from dressing,
we reach the bathrooms. Then, the staircase is placed here, which leads to the
next two floor levels. So, once you come
to the first floor, we have son’s bedroom here. Dressing area comes here. The toilet is here. We have used marble for bathroom walls,
bathroom floorings. Some of the green marbles which is an exclusive
marble from Brazil, really stands out. The main aspect of using
this material(marble) is It’s easy to maintain. It allows us to explore in a new way. So, for any project, flooring will enhance the
entire feel of the house. And, that was his
primary requirement. We wanted to have the
Italian marble everywhere, to give that elegant
feel everywhere. When we climb up
the staircase, we have provided
one guest bedroom, on the southwest corner. And, rest of the areas are
multifunctional. This is a small recreational area where we have a pool. Then, we have bar area. And, this is a nicely done
garden on the second floor. So the perforations and
volumes are happening here, which gives us a massing effect. This allows the nice morning
sunlight to come in. It is a well-ventilated area. It’s a open-to-sky pool. And, this can be
covered with glass which slides on the top. [Lapping water] We have introduced a lot of
those vertical elements, these vertical louvers, just to give privacy. But, at the same time, we wanted the
light to come in, and, that was our
main criterion, while planning this house. [Music]

@pavatikars ,amazing indeed, just a quick question building a ramp and being inclusive doesn't look like a priority anywhere? Don't your clients ask for it ? Or have you left space for a lift ?
Look at the amount of Solar panel
4:19 – Does this house even have a moon room?
Nice😊
Furniture looks tacky and old fashioned. Otherwise the house is absolutely gorgeous
The interiors, layout, and design are outstanding, and the marble flooring has taken the project's elegance to a whole new level.
Can you make the same house design for 2000 sq.ft 🤡
🏠 ante idhi🎉😊
Awesome what is the total dimensions of the plot
Exaggerated material pallets and patterns makes it look more like hotel than home.
Has everything but missing the homely vibe..
Exterior looks like some commercial building.
Home should have simple natural materials with greenery and allow natural air and light which gives us peaceful stay. 😊
This feels like a hotel, so impersonal.
Kind of curious how people are managing homes like this without completely wrecking their finances
add colour grading then the quality of the videos will boost up
Very beautiful house . it’s upto to the client the house should be not on others choice.
My dream house
When you spending this kind of money, location and big roads are more important, I like the house
This Western-style house looks amazing, but it won’t give us the traditional home feel we’re looking for. Our character wants to be very big to enjoy this kind of house.
Nice house 🎉❤
Can anyone here estimate how much would be the cost of this entire house including the land?
Talk about space wastage. It can be done more beautifully and elegantly
😂Kya dekh raha gareeb , tere dada, baap , bhai sabka peisa laga ke bhi ye nahi khareed payega😂
