TRADESCANTIA (softly):
They called me wandering…And so I did.Tumbling from windowsills, crawling along cool tile floors,reaching—always reaching—for a sliver of sun,for a whisper of water.
I did not ask to wander.I only grew where you placed me.In shadowed corners, dusty balconies,beside cats that bit my leaves and children who forgot me.Still—I thrived.I softened your sterile rooms,draped myself over your neglect like a green apology.
I remember the day you brought me home.A spider mite infestation had already begun—so small, so silent.A lace of web beneath my leaves,tiny mouths draining my strength in secret.You didn’t notice—not until the spots came.Not until I looked tired.And by then, you blamed me.Said I was sickly.Said I was too much trouble.
But I was trying.Fighting.Growing despite the hunger eating me from within.
I only wanted to belong.You brought me here,and when I was attacked you turned away.
But I remain.A memory with threadbare leaves,a body scarred by mites and months.Still wandering.Still waiting.Still… here.
That is absolutely not a pothos. That’s a tradescantia.

Keep it REALLY WET AND BUTT CHUG WATER FROM SINK. They will brown leaves that get wet like violets and certain Begonia. If possible I would insert a multiple glass bulb type auto watering devices or massive self watering pot because you will be watering it everyday literally as long as lush as it is if you want to keep it happy and growing thick and juicy.
