  1. Hi Laura I have a Snowdrift Crabapple it’s newly planted but I have black dots on it What is it and what should I do? Love your channel!

  2. 31:36 I would recommend having a Sycamore tree then another London plane tree. I've seen them look almost the same but Sycamores come from the eastern half of the US. I'll also say most I've seen maxed out at almost 80ft tall and ~50ft wide.

  3. How about putting limbed up small trees in the centers of each square? Love the espalier idea too. Some height maybe??❤

  4. I want to see the peach-colored cone flower you got from Andrews!! I fell in love with it and hope you will show us where you planted it and its progress as time goes by. Sending love to the whole family from Tennessee! 🥰

  5. In your formal garden I got a idea when you was standing by bench, I think your benches be better turn around facing towards the flowers instead of fountain , then you can plant scrubs behind the bench! Just a idea! Not four benches going to have people looking at just one object! Just sayin!

  6. Good morning ~ I wanted to say, I love love love the gated entry and the grandeur it provides for a space so deserving of it. It's a tease of what awaits on the other side. Can't wait to see what gets to live there. Beautiful tour.

  7. I was wondering if you continued up the columns at the gate a little bit and pull the brick in gradually enough to put the standard cap on. Just a thought I know nothing about brick, but they are gorgeous and the lights are perfect.

  8. For your formal garden: I think a "Blue Willow china" look would be awesome. Of course keep blue salvia forever! Use those awesome supertunias white in all 16 squares, no trees too lovely to obscure the view. Then in each quadrant, a fuchsia accent, something with dark green foliage. You could change accent color each year. Daffodils and Viloas in winter. Keep the serenity vibe going. Love your work!

  9. A wonderful tour of some of your gardens. It is hard to believe that in less than 5 years your gardens are so established. I sent my sister this video to show her your arbors. I think two in her property would like great…..creating those rooms! Thanks for bringing us along. You and Aaron are such a great team!💚

  10. That weed lettuce that you can’t get to (where the mosquitoes are) I think is the one I saw a video about. You can chop it up and cook it down into a tincture and it’s good for a natural pain control. Don’t take my word for it because I’m no expert. But I’ve been interested in that stuff, as I know Laura’s mom, Susan is.

  11. I agree with Aaron, doing something unique in each quadrant would be great. Also love the idea of doing the espalier trees in the smaller quadrants.

  12. I think it would look spectacular if each quadrant had one of the four seasons statues. Now THAT would draw you in. Each quadrant could then be planted to represent the season it represents. ie the winter quadrant could feature white, fall could feature orange yellow and reds, spring would be red and purple, summer would be green and pastel. Something like that.

  13. Plant the quadrants with annuals with the thoughts of unique in each area… This will give your the idea "conceptually" without commitment or expense of more permanent investment.

  14. Don't you like to smell your daylilies? They smell so good! Except for the tiger lilies, all of mine have a wonderful scent, some more than others. 😊

  15. Wonderful garden tour, thank you! I would love some drone footage, maybe at the end of part two? I had two thoughts on the formal flower garden: Each quadrant could be a mass planting of a different rose. Then I thought a metal obelisk in the center planted with a deciduous clematis would be pretty. The obelisk would give height and also interest during the winter without looking as heavy and busy as a wooden one.

  16. That honeysuckle putting on the intensity of berries – like you said – maybe it’s really stressed. Do plants do that? Switch into reproduction mode as a last ditch survival strategy?

  17. If you've never heard of monkey puzzle trees, they are my favorite ever green trees! I think they would make a huge statement in your beautiful gardens!
