Bootleg tomato trellises are my specialty… maybe. Be sure to subscribe to see more pathetic attempts at gardening, woodworking, leathercrafting and more!!!
Welcome back, you crazy sons of bit. We’re making a tomato trellis and more of like just a cattle wire fence. We didn’t have quite enough room to do one of those arches. We we kind of packed all this pretty tightly. And per usual, once I had already completed doing this, I saw a video of those arches and I was like, ah, maybe I still could have done it. But hindsight is 2020 and no regrets. So, I’m kind of upycling the the fence here. We had these leftover kind of cattle wire fence. And per usual, uh again, I didn’t think ahead and I did not measure out how long this fence was. So, I ended up just tying it off and I had to move that one of those uh Tposts right there and drive it back in. And uh you know, it was only about like a 5minute uh detour from that. And ye goes the post driver. And there we go. Tying it off. And then the second bit of fence I had ended up being uh not as tall, so I just did it up to the top of the post and uh it worked well. And tying these tomatoes together were a pain in the butt. Oh my goodness. But here’s how it looked. We did some trimming of the bottom branches as well. And you’ll see on the next video, these tomatoes are booming. So, be sure to hit that subscribe and like button. And I’ll see you guys later. Okay. bye-bye.
