These are on one of my paper dishes filled with repashy in my Mourning Gecko bioactive vivarium. I believe they are mites, but am not sure what kind or if they will be harmful to the vivarium or geckos? Interestingly they are only on this dish, which is elevated and sitting on top of some cork bark near the top of the enclosure. There are none on the 2 dishes at the bottom of the enclosure, so I'm wondering if the dwarf white isopods and springtails in the soil are outcompeting them there?? TIA for any advice!!

  1. They are biological and they are active, bioactivity achieved.

They are detrivores interested in your geckos food.  So, clean up crew.
