I planted a random “wildflower mix” in this little strip of dirt, not really expecting more than a few random Cosmos but got this guy who is showing no signs of slowing down OR budding a flower. Zone 7b if that helps. This is in a very tight spot with almost no soil, truly do not know how it is growing this big. Pics of whole plant, a close up on a leaf, and the base with finger for scale. (The brick was settling and separated before the plant got there, I am sure the plant is not helping it but it is not the cause of the brick moving, wanted to get out ahead of that lol)

Reminds me of “Spanish needles” but I’m not sure, amateur here.

    Bidens bipinnata

Is it Tansy? If so will flower tight mustard yellow flower clusters and have a distinct musky small. Good insect repellent.

Kind of reminds me of a type of poppy (not that kind).
