we planted our ginger root back on March 12th this year we mixed it up half of it was from a seed company and half was organic from the grocery store yes you can save a ton of money by just buying organic ginger from the grocery store to plant and now it’s June 24th about 3 and 1/2 months later and our ginger is growing strong check this out this is exactly what we planted in the ground it’s the regular old ginger ryomes you get in the grocery store ginger needs long days heat and humidity but it also needs air flow we plant the mature ryomes about 3 or 4 in down in the soil before long it starts sending small roots down into the soil and then a young ryome emerges the smaller roots get stronger and then the leaves emerge let’s check the moisture in the soil it’s been real hot lately and now is the perfect time to show you a game changer in our high tunnel this is an overhead high tunnel irrigation system from Farmers Friends LLC they definitely do all the hard work for you adding everything you need to this kit and what I absolutely love about it is how evenly it distributes the water and it works wonders cooling down those crops on 100°ree days we leave this on for about a half an hour a day and it does the trick this irrigation kit is a game changer for anyone with a high tunnel and I want to thank everyone so much for all the support and get out there and grow some food [Music]

Name of greenhouse structure
So, when you plant the ginger, does it get bigger? It looks like you pulled out exactly what you planted. What is the gain?
Heck ya! Definitely doing this. Hot and sandy out here, gotta constantly water. 👏👏👏
