Sadly I'm needing to sell my plants. šŸ˜“

Big Boi is (2) monsteras on a 6' tall heavy duty D-shaped moss pole. The moss pole is ziptied to the nursery pot, which is snug in the heavy ceramic pot. There are plenty of holes in the nursery pot and the ceramic pot has a hole. There's a water catch tray under the ceramic pot …which is all inside the basket. šŸ™ƒ …and on a plant dolly for easy moving on water day.

How much should I ask for it?

$0 actually. They’re in pretty rough condition. I, however, will take them off your hands for free so you don’t have to face the reality of their condition. šŸ’”

  2. SpecialistOutcome783

if you find the right person $200+. Everyone is good at keeping monstera’s alive but to keep one looking this nice and organized is insanely difficult

  3. Significant-Crow1324

You can TRY to post it for $400 but you’ll probably end up selling it for around $250

  4. chaikitty78

For the big boy I’d ask for $250 and see what you get.Ā

  5. TAanonReddit08

Price it $50 more than you’d like to get for it. They’ll always try to haggle down. I’d pay $200 for that beautiful plant, and more if I had the funds for it

I think it depends on how quickly you’re trying to get rid of it.

I wouldn’t take less than 300. Not only is it a beautiful specimen, but that’s the nicest presentation I think I’ve ever seen. Most Monstera’s look like shit from behind, like when my hair is greasy but I’m trying to play it off like it’s not and the back is just an unholy mess, but this is so clean, nicely done, lots of mature roots laced into the Moss pole. You just need to find somebody to appreciate that.

Did you use grow lights on this thang? Or was it all window

  8. Exciting-Bike1111

I need your secret to this masterpiece

  9. Interesting_Note_937

This is, quite literally, the most gorgeous monstera I have ever seen. Whatever reason you have to sell your plants, just figure it out LMAO you cannot get rid of this!!

  10. Fitkitkat_

Hoowwww did you do that?? And can you come do it to mine? 🄹🄹🄹

  11. Intelligent_Roll8840

This plant is in critical condition, but thankfully I’m a professional plant specialist and will nurse it back to health. However, I will have to keep it in my care. Let me know when I can pick it up

  12. Pitchaway40

You’ve done an amazing job with that plant. While lots of people have monsteras, few have them looking that good. $200-$300 and I think it’ll sell. It also depends on your location. If you live somewhere that has great year-round conditions and everyone has them you won’t ask for as much as up north where it’s much harder to get a specimen that nice looking. The prices in Miami are probably going to be different than in New York.

  13. Everyone else here is right, in the 200-300 range imo. But you’re going to have a hard time finding a buyer depending on where you’re at. It will be a beast to transport safely.

Edit: also the pointy end of the stake goes down, what are you, an animal? J/k of course, you’ve done an excellent job with it.

  14. Deep_Chocolate3103

I saw one about that size for 242.00 yesterday

  15. gh0stlygal_

At least $300. I definitely think she could go for more

  16. stephmcfet

I just want to know how on earth you got it to grow so nicely up its moss pole?!?!!

  17. Thick_Persimmon3975

Depends on where you are located. In NYC that could go for $300 easy.Ā

Great job with it either way.Ā

  18. $300 at a plant show easy. This has been cared for properly for years. That’s worth $$

  19. BUGEATER300

300-200.Ā  Especially if you’re selling the dolly/basket, and considering how Perfectly ShapedĀ For Indoor Spaces you’ve been able to grow this plant!! I’d ask 300$ or $250 and expect people to haggle down.Ā

  20. This is beautiful!!!! Do you have links to the center support?? I’ve never seen that before… having trouble figuring out what exactly I’m looking at and how you get the aerial roots in it? Looks like mesh covered in plastic?

  21. I wonder if interior designers or plant rental places would give you a better price than say, fb marketplace? No idea, just thinking out loud

  22. Was this just a low key brag post to make us jealous? šŸ˜‚

  23. gobbledegook-

I would expect that to run at least $250.

  24. C0untDrakula

Go to your internet marketplaces and try to search all the monsteras for sale, and their prices. On my end, I have never seen anything close to yours in terms of arrangement and size. Definitely don’t sell yourself short unless you really, REALLY need a quick sale. But easily start at $250+

  25. ididntknowiwascyborg

$200 for this massive thing? I’m truly floored. There’s absolutely no way. If I got this fucker for anything less than 1200 Canadian dollars I’d be shocked

  26. hokies314

Do you mind sharing details of the moss pole?

Is that similar to Sydney Plant Guy’s? Flat mesh up front, D shaped plastic at the back, a stake for additional support and chunky aroid mix?

I am not sure how to make that D shaped plastic at the back.

  27. Man I really need to up my monstera pole game. That is one happy plant

  28. $300+ I might post it on FB Marketplace and say make an offer.

  29. twomemeornottwomeme

That bitch would be $600 at your local ritzy plant store

  30. powderpants29

    Hey god, it’s me again…

In all seriousness, that’s a solid $200-250 plant but be prepared for some less serious house plant owners to try and knock you down a peg. People won’t want to pay that price except for the ones who know what it takes to get this level of beauty out of this plant.
