Hello together,

I finally found a Conophytum calculus online which I received today.
It is a very big and nice plant, so I was happy to find it for sale.
But when I unpacked it I was shocked because it seems to have started rotting.
The area is soft and squishy.
Is there any way to rescue it?

Sadly yes, msybye remove the old leaves for a better look, if squishy and yellow then say farewell

Might be starting its dormancy. Mine sort of looked like that a while ago.
