The Webster Groves Women’s Garden Association recently presented the July 2025 Garden of the Month award to Casey Ann and Brian Merriman, and their daughter, Alison, at 120 Jersey Ave. From the shade garden carefully planted with hostas, ostrich ferns, azaleas and a weeping maple in the front of their century home to the cottage garden of natives, spring bulbs, English roses, iris, wisteria and vegetable garden bed to a backyard orchard of apples, peaches, grapes and a fish pond, the garden is a joy to visit. The association also recognized Webster Family Physicians, 7979 Big Bend Blvd., for civic enhancement. The business’ garden features both annuals and perennials, and serves as a pollinator attraction.
