  1. Hi! I’d love to see a video on how you turn over the garden beds from pulling out summer crops to get it ready to plant for fall crops. I always miss this step and never get to plant for fall. 🎃

  2. I'm also in the looking forward to fall gardening frame of mind, and pretty soon I'll free up some space in my section of the garden by ripping out my diseased tomato plants to make room for something else. I'm thinking turnips, but I might also plant something else that would companion plant well with them. What are your suggestions for a companion plant in a raised bed with turnips? The beds are block beds roughly inside dimensions (4 ft x 12ft) with at least a blocks thickness in depth for soil.

  3. Good to see Miah moving ok. I know he is probably still sore. Yay for irrigation. It will be interesting to see if your tomatoes stay healthier with the change in watering. We have had a punishingly hot summer. I would never survive in your heat. But you would never survive in our cold and dark winters.

  4. Any advice on fall gardening in grow bags? We're in the midwest. Thank you for another great video, Jess – Dakota & Angela

  5. Ca u show your drip irrigation up close? I’m in lower Alabama. We have started building raised beds, and use drip irrigation tape. Urs seems more of a hose. I would love to know more about urs! Thank you!! ❤

  6. If your garden is a reflection of you, in life, the word I would use to describe it is EXUBERANCE. Just sayin……..

  7. My tomatoes are growing but have not yet started to color up….however the grass that found its way into my bed are just as all as my tomato plants 🤦‍♀️

  8. Jeremy!! Jess, i listened to that podcast you did with Jeremy and contacted him to help design my backyard garden in 2024. He was able to bring my vision to life on paper and im still in love with how it turned out. Im too far away for him to take the job but i found someone to build the beds and im doing the rest, its currently giving potager/secret garden vibe and it brings me so much joy to walk out my kitchen door in my pjs and grab veggies and herbs while the pot is on the stove! Thank you for sharing him with us😊 and about the fall garden, i have the summer garden down with starting seeds for the things i like to grow but ive not mastered the fall yet. I am close to greenville SC so similar climate to you, what should i plan on starting in August for fall harvest/ spring harvest, im looking at the brassicas, roots and greens but i haven't been good at figuring out timing and proper protection, i dont have space for high tunnel or greenhouse

  9. this is my 3rd year leaving in SC , I still can't figure it out when to start plants for fall and winter. Can you please share every step, I'm in the same growing zone as you. THANK YOU!

  10. My goal for next season is to install drip.
I was so happy with my tomato yield but even happier to tear out the plants. It’s the time of year to be tired of gardening and wanting to rest.

  11. Does your chamomile flowers come back in the fall? Or do you only have it in the late spring? Please share if you get any in the fall 😊

  12. The only fall fardening I have ever done was garlic, onions and carrots in the climate I am in (7B-eastern NM). I am prepping to plant seeds for broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage (got a summer harvest buthad severe bug issues) and brussle sprouts to go with my regulars. Any tips? My cabbage usually does good, my broccoli has had puny heads the 3 or 4 plants I have managed to grow and the one brussle sprout plant I grew never made sprouts. Granted, those were all spring into summer growing attempts. I will start seeds in the garage which is way cooler than outside and I have a new set for a low tunnel (cabbage moths think my home is the best place in town!)

  13. I would love to hear more about fall gardens. This is the first year I'm really planning for one. I've been 7th floor apartment balcony gardening for the past 25 years or so. In the past the plants would die off sometime around September and I thought that was about it for production.

  14. The Raspberry Burst have been my absolute favorite!! Very complex and different not to mention stunningly beautiful 😍

  15. 1) Do you recommend direct sowing seeds for a fall garden or should I be starting them indoors like I do most of my spring/early summer vegetables?

    2) what are examples of crops I can grow in a fall garden?

    Love your videos!

  16. I’m going to attempt to plant a fall garden this year for the first time. Zone 7a central ky, my biggest concern is when to start seeds. I’m confused by it because I’m supposed to start a second round of cucumbers and summer squash but it’s the hottest part of summer here right now. How do I start cabbage and broccoli and cool weather crops when it’s 95 degrees outside every day with 100% humidity? It’s hot here well into October and then we get our first frost at night but the days are still hot for another month at least. I’d love to know what you do since your first frost date isn’t too far behind mine.

  17. Can you talk about when to start onion seeds? I live in central Texas so I do short day onions I was wondering if you could get into that if I don’t want to buy starts from anybody and I wanna do my own when should I put my seeds in soil to make my own starts by the way we met at your first book signing in Arkansas I love you so much and I can’t wait to see you again when that happens I plan on making a trip to your coffee shop not a stalker. Just love you and you’re the reason why I have a garden

  18. You wore a few different outfits in this one. I like them all. I like your style. Very practical, comfortable, mess friendly, and pretty.

  19. I just saw a forecast of an abnormally warm wet fall. I need to figure out what to plant in a raised bed for the best fall or winter

  20. Love watching your videos, I'm 37yrs old. $73,000 biweekly and I'm retired, this video have inspired me greatly in many ways!!!!💖

  21. What are your favorite direct seed/sewn higher yield fall/winter garden that can still be planted when there are 75 days left before first frost? I have 4×6 feet of raised bed to plant and a 'gone to the weeds' high tunnel.

  22. It would be awesome if you could make new, full coverage, videos of your fall garden. Especially with your new dripping system and your inground area😊🍁🌱🫛🎃

  23. As someone who watches each one of your videos to hang out with you, and I have been watching you for over 5 years now, I would love you to repeat your old content and share how you do things NOW, I am sure so many things have changed and yet many have stayed the same. I am here for you and am so up for repetition.
Your fall garden plans are always of interest, even though I am in Sunny South Africa in the middle of winter 😂
    Much love ❤❤❤

  24. It's probably a stupid question but who cares. In the fall garden you grow cold weather plants. If i sow them now. Aren't they going to all bolt in the summer heat?
