Located in NH, it's like a thick fluffy pillow. My lawn needs a ton of work to get anywhere near here, but I'm curious on what this is. I just recently learned there is a lot of different types of lawn grasses, so I obviously need help.

  1. Bit hard to say for sure with you moving around so much and not being able to zoom in on a video.

Did you jump out of your car to touch some strangers lawn?

Are you the guy that was posted the other day here pulling over to touch somebody’s grass?

  5. Looks like the Scott’s sun and shade mix I planted in the spring. A mix of mostly ryegrass and tall fescue.

You can rent sod cutter for less than $100 a day.

First you create a fake giveaway to a local hotel for the homeowner, make sure it’s good for one weekend only so you know when they will be gone. Rent said sod cutter maybe a trailer if you don’t have one. While you are at home Depot renting it maybe see if there’s some people hanging out front looking for work. Then go to their house and cut up the sod load onto trailer. Then install at your house.

If you have an Android phone you can use Google Lens to identify plants and grass. I did it last week because we need to reseed part of our lawn. It was able to identify the 3 different grasses in the mixed seed they originally used. It works well. I’m sure Apple has something similar

It looks like Zoysia grass to me. Very lush and dense. It’s used on golf courses a lot.
