Hi Guys
In This video I would like to show you how you can transform the front yard by building a retaining wall by Versa wall concrete Blocks.

[Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] morning guys we are starting new project in Woodcraft and I want to build retaining wall three courses 600 height in the front yard first we need to set the line where the retaining w should be because it’s a front yard that’s a console area I measure it from the next door wall and we set the line first then I dig hole I put one blocks that’s a ver of all concrete blocks and to find how high should be and then dig a base for the footing and the wall coming that side going there and going to the fence side on top that’s a three4 600 height and also we build another one continue there and then straight stairs in the middle to going straight to the house entrance first setting the line digging and I mix a mortar to set the first course and then we going on the other courses on top so guys the material deliver it to the side today I will continue to build the side of the wall and if I can complete this Parts when we lay the other courses on top we need to fill it by the 10 mil blue metal and I need to order it I don’t have it now just I lay the blocks on top of each other but not capping until fill it by the blue metal so we have 100 blocks and pavers for the side of the house and also a steeper Stone in that entrance to the house and through the wall so guys we start to laying the blocks that’s a concrete blocks vers of all split face um first we set the line as we going through and make it level we check the level line to check the level on the first course and then we’re following the line going through maybe we need to dig some part around that side to be flashed by the line and then if we going and touching to the ground we going the next course on top of it first course should be um installed on top of the mortar base and the others will be just locked to each other and we’re going through guys you need to chip out some of the Corn Blocks part to fit the half blocks in to side it and also in some of these there is some different tent you need to touch it up when you want to uh build the second course on top of it I will do that by the Chisel and Hammer then I lay the second one because I need to find where it started and going through and then next one on top of it I lay the blocks and let you know it’s just the blocks will be this is a corner block that way left right left right going on top of the wall and also the full blocks have a dent they will lock to the top one and all will lock together guys remember before laying the second course just clean up broom on top of the all block LS to be clear and same level as I said it’s easy going and fast just laying on top and we lock together we’re doing this both side and going as a steps still coming look the corner it will be locked to each other and also the top will be locked from The Stance locking to the top one all locked together it’s very a Strong retaining well good morning guys this is a day Tre that’s a wall in the right side we build it in the first day then we build the other wall that’s a first course it’s more important the other because the first course need to be sit on the mortar base and level it if you do the good on the first course it’s very easy to just build up all the course this is a side when you want to step out this one is the last one and it’s not continuing you need to make sure you will follow the slope and cover in otherwise one of them will be empty under the block next step is finish the wall lay the other blocks on top of it and build the stairs in the middle side front of the entrance and if we have some broken part we take a picture and we asked the factory to send and replace all damage materials that’s the front three courses all the way and then capping a step up capping a step up going there and the stairs will be in the middle side so guys to build the stairs first we need to install the corner see how much you want wi for the stair this one is 120 2 600 pavers in the sides and then going through one course one course up to the set to the pavers and then rise one course to level on the top of the first course and then the other going on top fill up behind the um behind the blocks the Gap by the concrete the papers will sit on the concrete and will glue to the top of the first course and then second one going there installed and top [Music] [Applause] [Music] one so guys as you can see we fill up the blocks by the blue metal that’s a 20 M blue metal you can choose 10 mil or 20 mil and also we cover the pipe behind the wall by the blue metal up to the one course from the top here it will be 400 this part is 600 but the other will be 400 high and coming then and we can cover it by the soil so guys job completed that’s the retaining wall capping and lter box installed in retaining wall stairs the paway and the edge in the side three course in the front and planting and M looks good and very tidy perfect job I did good quality and the side [Music]
