During watering day yesterday, I accidentally knocked over my beautiful 8’ pink philodendron, and immediately started tearing up because I saw the red spots and felt so bad for bruising her.
Ahhh I felt this! Literally had a planter fall off the wall and right on top of my pink princess at work- broke off three for her beautiful leaves, including one that had just unfurled. And the sight of her “bleeding” brought me tears. I just keep telling myself she’ll come back better and stronger

Remember to replace the leaked brake fluid in the stem 💡

I have definitely set, braced, taped and healed broken stems in other aroids.
Literally set it like a bone, brace it with something straight to support the break, and then wrap with plastic wrap tight enough to hold everything tight and close any wounds out from oxygen then tape it down so it stays then come back and remove in 60 days
