I can’t tell if I’m overwatering, if it’s the pot or the leaves are turning yellow to feed all the new growth on my money tree. She gets 1/2 cup to a cup of water maybe 7-14 days and i make sure her dirt is dry, about to my second knuckle. She also faces south and has filtered light through sheer curtains and blinds and some west light indirectly. The dirt that I have always used is plain miracle grow potting soil. I also aerate the dirt every 6 months. Any thoughts? TIA

when you water you need to completely drench the soil. half a cup is not nearly enough especially only doing it once every 1-2 weeks.
what is this, a money tree? I am unfamiliar with their watering preferences, but I will say your plant probably needs fertilized. It could be killing off old leaves to make new ones because it doesn’t have enough nutrients in its old pot. (or you could try repotting it, I guess) I have found miracle grow’s indoor houseplant fertilizer is cheap and works fine.
lovely tree OP. its got a real nice shape
