Planted it about a month ago and it took off. What'd I buy?

Salvia guaranitica, it would grow to a big bush with flowers all year round if you’re in a place that have no super cold winter: Is for hummingbirds and bees

I just planted one yesterday and got excited that I could identify something, but everyone is on it of course!

I think the tag said that it grows up to 3’x3’ but other sources say it gets bigger than that.

My plant ID app says it’s Scarlet sage (salvia splendens)

Salvia! It’s a staple in my mom’s garden and it comes in all sorts of colors. We had an absolutely gorgeous electric purple one a few years ago and the bees and hummingbirds love it.

And the Plant This app says…Blue anise sage. AKA Salvia guaranitica
