This flowering perennial has been in my grandmother’s yard for decades, yet we’ve never known what to call it. It grows about waist-high and doesn’t have thorns. Do you guys have any idea what it could be? My dad swears it isn’t a type of hibiscus because the petals on the flower stay close like a rose bud.
