I think a bug or a disease has nearly killed my amaryllis. Can someone identify the problem or suggest how to save them??

Usually there’s no soil where you planted. It’s removed and replaced with inert fill for drainage not growing plants. Not sure what climate you have but they are not well planted. Mine are full of dark green leaves in big pots because mine have to go inside for the winter.

As well, the mulch you applied burns plants by tying up all the bacteria and nitrogen to break it down. Also bulbs are too deep buried . Needs to be exposed at the top of the bulbs.

Planted too deep and hard to tell the quality of the soil but I’m going to guess it’s bad based on the proximity to the house and barren planting with dyed mulch

Did they start declining before or after that mulch went down?

Also, looks like snail damage, among other things

I agree that they are too deep. How much sun and water are they getting? It can be easy to overdo both.
