Picked up this water in a brackish lagoon but after almost a month this is the condition it is in, it's a lost cause right?
Ps. If I remove the water , give it a rinse and substitute with sweet water might I be able to use the nutrients in the soil to grow some duckweeds in it?

    Yeah, it doesn’t look good. The pink hue is most likely cyanobacteria blooming from too much light.

    Rinsing the substrate will destroy pretty much everything. For freshwater and brackish you’ll need real aquatic plants to keep the water filtered and oxygenated.
