Anyone have any ideas on what could be causing my salvia to have selective wilting? Only seems to be affecting 2 stems of the plant. I noticed this yesterday and gave it a drink, it perked up and looked normal but is looking the same today. Im afraid to overwater it! Thanks for the help

See if the stems are broken or bent.
Water if it’s wilting. It may be sucking the soil dry quickly
I find mine thirsty this time of year, especially big ones like that.
It’s not simply the watering, although that may be a contributing factor. As we get into the dog days of summer, plants can lose water from leaf evaporation faster than the roots can absorb water. They will then wilt a bit. You will often notice that the leaves spring back to full turgor pressure once the evening hours provide lower temperatures, if they are properly watered.
In my garden, I see this with my Texas star hibiscus and some of my perennial hibiscus.
It also looks like you have something sucking on those leaves. That is what causes some of that speckling. It’s not a coincidence that those are the branches and area having the biggest issue. My guess would be spider mites. they suck this year! On this note, that would explain why that area is having a problem instead of the entire plant when it has watering issues.
