Morning Glory, Grandpa Ott. This variety is not hardy in my area and I have to plant the seeds annually or buy a 12 inch vine from a Nursery for $9.99. Mine haven’t flowered yet.

We had this when I was a child in Australia. It took over everything, even trying to strangle the blackberry bush we had. It came from a house 3 houses down and was everywhere. It’s not easy to remove

I call it morning WHOREY, because it grows fast and loose! And it grows anywhere!!!

It appears to be Convolvulus pluricaulis. If so, it is widely used in Ayurvedic medicine for its rejuvenating , memory improvement and calming effects.

Good luck when you’ve seen enough. We removed ours years ago and I still pull 5-10 small plants a day all summer

These were all over where grew up in Sri Lanka. When I was a kid, I would catch little Golden Tortoise beetles that feed on it.
