OP, it’s your lawn and you’re welcome to show it off – especially since you clearly disclosed your methods. Congrats! Don’t listen to the jealous folks.

And that’s coming from someone about to spend the next ~5 hours on his lawn.ย

Lmao dude found the one company on earth that actually knows lawn care and is just flexing on all of us. Savage.

When I first started, this was anathema to me, but now that I’ve branched out into flowers, veggies, trees, etc., the lawn sometimes feels like a chore.

This coming from someone using a TruCut C-27. Cuts like butter but would be nice to let a robot do it when it’s noon and 95.

    Robot reel? The final frontier.

Wow that looks great! Iโ€™m definitely motivated now to get my lawn to look like this!ย

I would love to be able to grow Bermuda. Damn winters in MN. Doing a lawn reno at our new house soon with KBG. Fingers crossed!

Thatโ€™s pretty cool. Any chance it can be programmed to do designs like checkering? I donโ€™t know much about Bermuda grass being in the Midwest.

I think I may be more impressed with those hydrangeas!

What Is your weed, and fertilizer schedule?

I paid a company to manage my poor lawn. Itโ€™s Floratam St Augustine, poorly installed 3 years ago on sand in September with absolutely no nutrients. Just barely made it into Spring after a โ€œcoldโ€ dry Winter. We are limited to watering only one day a week.

Lawn company said they could revive it. After 2 lawn companies tried over two years, I took over late this Spring when the company missed the pre emergent window they decided to spray liquid weed killer after it got too warm. Needless to say, the grass had a serious set back.

Iโ€™ve nursed it back to life and have hand pulled weeds all Summer. I do mow at 3.5 to 4 inch height, bag the clippings and sharpen the blades before every mow. I use an electric walk behind and always start to mow at sunset or later. Have not mowed when wet. It has been extremely hot here since the first week of May. Relentlessly in the 90s with dew points in the 70s. We will most likely hit 100ยฐ air temp this afternoon. Even waiting to mow until the evening, the heat for me is intense.

Does your robot bag clippings? Will it mow as high as 4 inches? St Augustine doesnโ€™t like to be mowed short and during max growth period it has to be mowed every 5 days.

Your lawn company is doing a great job and your lawn is beyond excellent. Not a common occurrence here where we live. Several companies around, but talking with neighbors who use them give mediocre ratings.

Iโ€™d like to have one of these, but man they just arenโ€™t programmed for a yard in my area yet. The places you would have to keep them would be awkward and cumbersome for the machine. Unless theyโ€™ve figured out that they need to cross concrete to get to the yard that they are supposed to mow it and cross a certain section of concrete. I donโ€™t know if it would work for me.

JHChrist, are you putting on that lawn?! How short do you cut it?
