If you have a little space in your house, even if it is a small pot, you must keep it at home. This plant is searched the most. I think the biggest reason behind this is that people are confused whether it is an indoor or outdoor plant. People in the nursery say that this is an indoor plant, keep it inside the house, but show the sun for a day or two in a week. So what is the indoor plant? This is an outdoor plant, just like aloe vera, it is a succulent plant, it will grow well outside, you don’t have to take much care. The same is true of jade plant. Like a normal plant, you can make a bonsai, you can keep it in a hanging pot, you can also put cuttings in its water. Now let’s talk about where you will get it from. You will get it easily in the nursery, it costs 40-50 rupees. I think it should not be brought from the nursery. If someone has a jade plant here, ask them to cut it with love, people give it very easily. I give the whole plant. If you do not know how to apply cuttings, if you are a beginner, then you have to bring it from the nursery. This is a typical summer plant, it grows very well between 15-35 degrees Celsius. When the temperature is high, like if it is too hot, take care of a little water, there is no problem. When the temperature goes down, that is, when it is cold, and if your plant is already set, its roots are spread, then it will drop a few leaves, the stem will become thin, the branch will become thin, it will not be bad. As the weather changes, the spring season comes, you cut it, it will start growing again. This is a unique plant that you can apply to anything. You can apply it to a clay pot, ceramic, plastic, cement, wide pot, long pot, big pot, small pot, anything you can apply. I have already shown you how to apply cuttings to the plant. I have applied cuttings to different sizes. I have applied cuttings to the grow bag, small pot, ceramic. I have made a forest of thick cuttings in one place and I have also applied it to small ceramic pots. If you keep it in your house, in the washroom, in the kitchen, it will grow well in the beginning, but slowly it will get spoiled. It needs at least 3 hours of direct sunlight, the rest you can give 6 hours, 7 hours, no problem. If you have a hybrid variety of Jade, then you can keep it under shade or green net. Or it should be in the early morning or in the morning sunlight. If the sun is bright, then the colors will not come. Now let’s talk about watering, that is, how to water it. See, it is a succulent, just like aloe vera, it is also there. If you break its leaves, then you will check that it has moisture in it. So this plant already has moisture, you do not give more moisture than above. Give water once and when the soil dries well, then give water. Wait for 8-10 days and then go. If the leaves are falling in it, then you check. If the leaves are healthy, then it is over watering. And if the leaves are dry, then it is under watering. So you can get an idea from this. Now let’s talk about its soil, its soil should be well-drained and sandy. Means water should not stop in it. How do you make it? Take soil, whatever is here. If it is sandy, then it is very good, you will have to mix less sand. If it is not sandy, then you have to mix half of the soil first. Nutrition is also important. You have to mix 1 quarter of the compost with coco peat. And you have to mix as much coco peat as sand. Take a little fungicide and add a little neem home in it. That’s it. Let’s talk about fertilizers. See, it is not a heavy feeder plant. Not much fertilizer is needed. But if you give it once a month, then if its growth has stopped, then it will start and it will be a very good growth. You can give any liquid fertilizer once a month. You can give onion peel, you can give cow dung compost tea, you can give vermicompost tea. You can give neem cake fertilizer. If the weather is fine, then you can give ground nut cake and muscat cake. And seaweed liquid is best. Let’s talk about pests. Normally, insects do not grow in jade plants, but if there is already a millbug in your garden, then millbugs can grow. If you spray prime plus or neem leaf quality, then the chances of insects growing are equal to zero. If there are insects, then cut the part where there are the most insects. In fact, I say, wherever you see insects, you cut it immediately. After cutting, spray neem oil in it. You have to take water-soluble neem oil, spray it, do it once or twice, it will be over. I sit every month and prune all the jade plants. The more you cut, the more cuttings will be, the more you dig in the soil. And the mother plant spreads and grows at the same speed. Cutting is done to grow it, to make it thick. And the second thing is to give it a shape. Any shape will work in hanging, but if you have kept it in a pot, then it is good to have a shape.
