Fucking sewer rat! That pisses me off too! If you looked at mine funny it would drop leaves, this one is thriving in a drain.🤣

I aggressively shake mine everyday and demand it gives me its wallet. I think it has a neglect kink.

Have you ever considered the amount of humidity it is getting there? 🥵

  4. Bro is trying to escape Plato’s cave. Silly bastard will never see the shapes behind the shadows.

I have to admire a survivor like that, you know… quite impressive, really.

This is the greatest plant middle finger if ever seen.

Aren’t ficus super invasive in Australia? And finicky as hell everywhere else

Haha, reminds me about the times I go over to friends or family and they have a plant that you just can’t keep alive. You look at it, its still in the same soil they bought it in 5 years ago, it’s soggy, no fertilizer and it’s like ….”HOW!!??”

Easy. There’s this one weird trick I use with almost all my houseplants: I get frustrated and put them outside. Where plants are meant to be. (Very little frost here.) Sooooo much easier to care for, ugh! This one has its roots in water like all the best figs in nature do. Those roots can wander far! Plumbers love them because they bring them so much business in sewerage pipe repairs!

That’s a strangler fig. It grows as an epiphyte. So don’t worry, it’s not your skill issue, it’s made to grow in weird places 😂

I guarantee u if u would ever pull it out somehow and plant it in a pot it would start dropping leaves 😂😆😂😆

I initially interpreted IT as in information technology instead of the clown and I thought that everyone in that profession just caught a stray from that comment.

The ficus thrives in chaos….and poopoo.

    THANK YOU !

I still have a bag of cement, but no idea what to do with it.
Think I’m gonna build myself a little road drainage with a Ficus in it 🙂
