I traveled for about one month and my sister was taking care of this pothos, I taught her when and how to water it and she did exactly what I told her, but i unfortunately came back to this, I can’t tell whats wrong was it the room temperature change? root rot?? under watering? even though she watered it every friday like i have been doing for the past three years

I watered it today, and i feel like its not getting better I don’t want it to die it has been with me for years :(((

  1. Forgot to mention I have three other pothos in the room and they’re all like this too

I’m just emotionally attached to this one the most

Give it at least a day to see if it perks up from the watering. If it’s still super droopy after a day, you can take it out to check on the roots.

Ask her to demonstrate to you how much she watered. Some people put a token little pour in and some people give it a soak enough so that it pours out of the bottom. If she did different to you, that might indicate why the leaves are so droopy.

I think it needs 💦 water ! You might need to trim it and propagate it!

That’s dehydrated as fuck, your sister didn’t do shit

That is a plant that hasn’t drank for a month.

Sometimes, when I have neglected my own pothos, they don’t perk up till I water them a second time. It’s going to take time to perk up if you only watered it today.

I don’t think it’s at the point of dying, pothos are pretty resilient.

Yeah, I don’t think your sister watered the plants

Before you watered it, did you check how dry the soil was? To me, this looks more like your sister was giving too much water. Check the soil in a few days to see if it’s taking up any water.

Probably not getting enough oxygen through the soil/ thirsty. Mine did this and revived within 2 days once I switched to hydro culture

It needs a soak. Are there drainage holes at the bottom? If so put it in the sink and sit it in water for a bit to fully saturate it.

Maybe your sister did water it and just didn’t use enough water and gave it a small drink which didn’t do much.

Pothos are super heavy feeders, have you given it any nutrients lately?
