  1. Great video. I love the curtains in the Hartley. You had a very productive day. That area is all cleaned up and the South Garden is looking so beautiful. Have a blessed day everyone.

  2. Wow! The Hartley greenhouse looks so pretty and romantic with the curtains! Who would have thought that it would look so good?! I think it’s really lovely 😍

  3. There is something just magical about the morning light flowing through the curtains in the Heartley accompanied by those gorgeous mini sunflowers. Feels like a fairytale!! 😍

  4. Laura, thanks for planting the gorgeous super bells white and yellow bidans in the ground. I just love whites and yellows, my fave! ❤😂❤ I wish I could have a larger section for just white and yellow flowers, but we live in a small HOA 55+ community.

  5. I love how many plants you have for the bees. Most of the plants I’ve chosen for my garden also attracts the pollinators, that has been my goal from the beginning when I started my garden up again, after a period of time where I have been struggling with chronic illnesses. This year my garden is looking amazing already and it is making me so happy ☺️

  6. HELP!!!! My roses and columbine get eaten every year! I spray with captain jacks, Neem oil, sprinkle diatamaceouse earth around, and also use slug and bug granular bait. What would you recommend??

  7. Oh wow, the dill looks amazing! Dry them out and send it to me, I would love to use them in fermented foods, 😋! Your garden is gorgeous Laura! We have 74 degrees and 87% humidity here in North Georgia. Ugh! Have a blessed day ❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻🤗

  8. Laura, What was it that Aaron wanted to do with your kitchen garden bed area? It brings you joy planting your veggies and things? 😂

  9. I love cabbage yum. Easy peasy cabbage recipe
    German skillet
In a skillet with lid put chopped cabbage chopped onion 1/3-1/2 cup rice salt pepper, then later ground beef on top pour about a half cup water and pour a can of tomato sauce all over salt pepper place the lid on. Cook on medium for about an hour. You're welcome 😊

  10. Laura, next year can you plant an area with just the gorgeous blue varieties and white
Flowers? I know how you love your purple and pink flowers, but that fabulous true blue
Colored flowers is off the charts in beauty. It just matches the blue/white chinas that you love. 😂❤😂

  11. Oooo how lovely the Hartley looks like with the curtains! It looks like a place you could just cosy up in even in brightest summer! Loove it Laura! 👌

  12. My garden has been taken over by spurge & im at my wits end with it. I can spend all day pulling every piece out & a week later, it’s back double! Do I just burn it down? 😂

  13. Hope everyone is trying to stay cool! Laura, didn't you at one time say you wanted to move your herb garden? Or did I imagine it? Are you thinking you need that space for parking? Can't believe we are already 2 weeks out til August! 🥵😎

  14. That bachelor's button needs to go somewhere around the pond / dream stream area 😅 its a thug! A beautiful thug 😅

  15. I really like the curtains. They make a person want to go inside to see what's there.
Also, I'm a HUGE fan of the mangavae. I bought 3 this year. Mine came in 4 inch pots so I get to tend to them and watch them grow. I really love watching you and learning about new plants to try for myself.❤

  16. Love this video. The mangaves look incredible there. Question: Would you consider doing a “statuary tour”? Going through your property and showing the statuary, the history of the piece, and tips on buying investment pieces. Would love that. Thank you.

  17. It’s too bad you couldn’t have faced the Hartley east and west. My mom always said when you by a house check to see if it is facing east and west. So the house will have the right light. Our houses were always bright and never dark like a dungeon. Her house plants always did well. Your garden is looking so good considering the heat. I have had a lot of problems with my seedlings in this heat.

  18. Look at the planted pockets in the background under the linden trees in the formal flower garden 😍 (my granddaughter is mispronouncing, calling it the former flower garden 😁 I guess she’s not wrong 🤷🏼‍♀️)

  19. Have you ever considered putting a bee hive somewhere out in the South garden? Oh my word that would be fascinating for Benjamin. If you don't want to be a beekeeper yourself, there's probably someone local who would tend the hive and give you a portion of the honey as payment ❤😊🐝. Love those cool quiet mornings in the garden

  20. I'll admit, I've never been a huge fan of mangave, but seeing them in a black urns? Wowza! There is something magical about that structure and simplicity. Especially paired with the sweet little sunflowers peaking out of the cold frames. 😍
