Ya, there’s not enough plant life to keep this sustained. Are those floaters on the top? If so, they are covering the surface and making gas exchange problematic.
Plus sitting on a window sill, it probably gets too much light

It’s called pearling when you see bubbles of oxygen being excreted by plants underwater. Congrats you’ve got photosynthesis, it’s good
