Thanks for showing the take down spray. I get aphid infestations on my plants all the time and just spraying with water doesn't work. They keep coming back all the time.

Another very relevant video for me. I recently was dealing with LEAF-FOOTED bugs, and I just assumed Spinosad would work, but it didn't. I eventually eliminated them by brushing them and the nymphs off the plant and into a solution of water inoculated with vinegar and dish soap. It killed them immediately. I now keep my jar in the garden so that I can grab it quickly when needed. šÆ
I just picked 12 hornworms, they eat a lot of my tomatoes plants, hope they keep growing š
I'm bad about dealing with pests. I typically don't use insecticides during harvest season. If I need to use something I'll harvest first, spray in the evening, and wait up to a week before harvesting again.
There is one pest that always requires several applications of Spinosad. That insect for us California backyard grape growers is the "grape leaf skeletonizer". Luckily the insect spreads across the area slowly. However once it finds your grapevine it will kill the vine within a few years. I haven't seen it come back for 5 years now. thanks for the great video.
