My 4 year old willow took a 90 degree turn towards a small backyard pond and now the majority of the tree is growing sideways, soon it will hit the fence.
If I cut the sideways branch off at the turn (where my hand is), will it eventually sprout back and then I may be able to position/brace it upwards?
