Roxanne and Randy Davis of Strattanville were awarded the “Garden of the Month“ for July. The Davises are especially proud of their huge vegetable garden. Randy grows all the usual veggies like tomatoes, corn, beans, a variety of sweet/hot peppers, zucchini/ squash and many other vegetables. Every summer the couple cans 100 plus jars of beans, spaghetti sauce, corn, tomatoes etc., as well as freezing corn, Brussel sprouts, broccoli, peas etc. They enjoy eating “Garden to Table “ meals all winter long as well as gifting some to family and friends. They also have a strawberry patch, cherry, apple and pear trees on the property. Congratulations to Roxanne and Randy for all their hard work.
