Recently acquired one of my wishlist plants, a blue oil fern! I have it in my bathroom right now which has a west facing window, a skylight and the plant stand above it has a grow light but it’s very far away from the fern and it’s used more for my Florida beauty and other variegated plants and some rehabs that need extra love. My bathroom is naturally warm and humid but I also run a humidifier and a fan 24/7.
I placed the fern under the plant stand and it’s got a kind of canopy created by the stand, the leaves of my radxlux and melanochrysum.
Does this seem like a sufficient environment for it to stay healthy and maintain its blue color? I am thinking of putting it in a closed terrarium instead (so I can actually look at it more instead of it being shielded by other plants and to maintain constant humidity) but I’ve never done that before and I’m nervous.
