Strange white discoloration, mostly on underside of leaves
I’ve been moving plants around and this poor cooperi was way overdue for a water. So I pulled it out and…what the hell? White streaks and patches that don’t scrape, rub, or wash off. I’ve never seen anything quite like this.
It’s hard to see, but that looks like telltale thrips damage. Do you see any tiny black dots (poop), or little long and thin black bugs moving around? They’re whiteish in the nymph stage. Big PiTA to get rid of, and destroy your plants by sucking the sap out of holes they cut in the foliage/stems, hence the browning.
