A large two-kilometer circular promenade embraces the lake and the mountain. A new cultural campus is also developed along this promenade, which includes a Science Museum designed by Perkins and Will, a Civic Theater designed by SANAA, and a new Suzhou Museum venue by GMP.
In addition to the important architecture, the pavilion dedicated to a modern sound composition by musician Yifang Han, a musical meditation immersed in the forest, is established here. On the slopes, however, discrete paths wind through vegetation and rock formations, while spaces dedicated to play and nature discovery have been created in more accessible areas.
