The main reason why plant cutings turn black and fail to root is that when the temperature rises, there are too many fungi in the air, water, and soil, which infect the cutings. Today, I’m going to teach you four tips to prevent blackening and help your cutings root faster. First tip, take a garlic clove from the kitchen and rub it on the wound of the cutting to disinfect and kill bacteria, preventing blackening. Second tip, wrap the cutting with a piece of tissue paper. The tissue will isolate bacteria and insects, preventing blackening and helping the roots develop faster. Third tip, dip the cutting in wood ash. This accelerates the healing of the wound and promotes faster rooting leading to stronger roots. Fourth tip, apply aloe vera juice to the wound. Let it dry and form a protective layer. Then insert the cutting into the soil. This prevents the cutting from blackening and drying out. Did you remember all the tips?
