I’ve shaken it until my arms ache. I’ve strained out the large particles. I bought a small pump to increase my hose pressure. IT STILL WILL NOT SPRAY AS ADVERTISED.

How many gallons are you mixing at a time? Larger would be better. The water could help break up any chunks.
I’ve used their granules and have liked the results.

Garbage quality for low level retail purchases… It’s likely getting jammed with solidified humates.
If so inclined, pour it out into another container, through some cheesecloth as a filter… You’ll see a bunch of chunky crap that will block up the sprayer function. Rinse it out, make it spray with water clear….then dump water and add filtered solution back in….it should then spray again.

Note to self, stick with granular.

If you’re going to order stuff, get it from. Don’t buy from big box stores.
next time, purchase some ferric ammonium sulfate bulk powder, 1/8 cup to 1/2 gallons, add 1/4 cup of Epson salts, 1/2 tsp of dawn, and spray that out of hose end sprayer at 3 tbs/gallon setting. Youre welcome. (and if you increase the ferric ammonium sulfate to 1/4 cup – kills moss too).

Hose-end sprayer with a filter basket?

Look into your local states university’s agricultural department and see what they recommend is needed for your cool season lawn this time of year. Places like TruGreen and Weedman and other local lawn care companies that deal with fertilizer and pre/post emergents typically have to acquire certification points by listening or attending classes throughout the year hosted by the states agricultural department. Here in TN Knoxville has a zoom/podcast every first Tuesday of the month plus you can just call or email them about your concerns and they should help you out on what you need. Or you can find a place like SiteOne. They sell all the general use herbicides and pesticides that those lawn companies use. They can be pretty pricy, but follow the label and don’t try and improvise by “speeding up the process”. You can’t expect to go to the gym once and come out looking like the Rock. Best of luck friend.
P.s. compare prices of these chemicals with chemical warehouse.com. The active ingredient is what you are looking for. Doesn’t matter the company label that bottled the product. The active ingredient is all you need to know.

Accept it as a lesson learned, then go buy real fertilizer (and a spreader if needed).

May i suggest farmers secret? Its a secret so keep it that way

Ignore the dipshits. My fine fescue gets constant compliments and I use that for 75% of my fert cycles. But I use granules. The liquid stuff I do use comes out of either a wand sprayer or a Chapin hose end sprayer. Also helps to put a pressure regulator on it so you can standardize the application better

Its crap. Simple lawn solutions makes one which is less headache but never saw it do a whole bunch.
Just get cheladed liquid iron.

Sta-green is the generic Lowe’s brand, and Vigoro is the generic Home Depot brand for anyone who didn’t know.

It’s 4-0-1, it’s a quart of micro nutrients, is it really going to make a huge difference, something that you will say WOW. Get your money back!

I use Simple Lawn Solutions and get excellent results.

Do you have access to like a paint stirrer drill attachment? Idk if that would help or not I haven’t had that issue tbh. Ive been using Spoon Juice by Yard Mastery and tried some other stuff by Simple Lawn Solutions.

Assuming you’re using something like a Ortho hose end sprayer. If so, have you removed the screen?

I bought a few bottles of this on clearance for a few bucks each. It clogs up every sprayer I’ve tried.

Every single one of these products does this unless you blend it with hot water and mix it violently, then strain the mixture. I was using Lesco chelated micronutrient mix because it’s $34 for 2.5 gallons but it does the same thing.

Backpack sprayer is the only answer
Have you tried putting it in a blender 🙃
Lesco is the answer.
Try mixing it into a bucket with warm water.

I ended up buying a [powdered variety](https://www.google.com/amp/s/customhydronutrients.com/Chelated-Micronutrient-Mix-1-lb_p_23129.html%3famp=1) that *should* mix down a lot better, and make much more solution for the dsme price
