    At first glance, I thought it might be a hollyhock. Their flowers are similar, but different leaves. One is a perennial is an annual, also.

    Rose of Sharon. Where I live, very common and pretty invasive. You don’t dare plant one in your yard because before too long you will have hundreds.

    It’s a hibiscus either rose of Sharon or a luna hibiscus

  9. You’ll want to pull and remove those beetles in the last photo. Those are Japanese beetles and are defo destructive and invasive.
